"Hu-m-an" Demonstrations for Downloading

and "EDITV32" Video Editing Utility

I. "Hu-m-an" Demonstrations

These demonstrations are specifically designed to introduce new users to Hu-m-an.

Please read the 'Disclaimer' before proceeding:

To download and install demonstrations:

i) Create a temporary folder or sub-directory in your local hard drive.

ii) Click on the Demonstration Download link below, downloading and saving the   'ehumdem.exe' file to the temporary folder.

iii) With "My Computer", locate this folder or sub-directory, and then double-click the downloaded 'ehumdem.exe' or 'ehumdem' file to install the demonstration package

iv) You can now 'launch' the demonstrations from the installation program, use <Start><Programs><Ehuman Demonstrations> or the desktop icon if one has been created.

Hu-m-an Demonstrations will operate with a screen resolution of 800x600, but are best at 1024x768. To remove demonstrations from your system, select <Start><Programs><Ehuman Demonstrations><Uninstall Ehuman Demonstrations>.

The demonstration package contains the following five demonstrations:

1. Introduction to Demonstrations

An initial overview of Demonstrations and how they operate.

2. Hu-m-an Overview - 2D

An overview of the Hu-m-an 2D environment. A self running demonstration that requires no user action.

3. Viewing Analyzed Data

An example of a Teaching Demonstration.  It illustrates how Hu-m-an is used to display videos, figures and graphs.

4. 2D Digitizing / Automatic Tracking

A demonstration of the automatic tracking feature of the Hu-m-an software.

5. Hu-m-an Overview - "General" 3D

An overview of the Hu-m-an 3D environment based on a "general" collection.  Hu-m-an differentiates between a "general" collection, where joint centers are estimated, and a "clinical" collection, where external markers are used to locate the underlying structures.   A self running demonstration that requires no user action.

These demonstrations illustrate only a small segment of the Hu-m-an program and environment. For as little as US$20/workstation, the Hu-m-an program would be a valuable addition to your biomechanics teaching-learning, computer resource library.
