ORIGINAL ANALYSIS
Designed for Windows® 95/98, 2000,XP & Vista (x32), Hu-m-an is a multi-faceted, hardware- independent computer program environment for
original two and three-dimensional analysis of human movement. It is designed to
accept standard Microsoft® "AVI" format 16-bit video files and proceeds through
digitizing, signal processing, mechanical analysis and calculation, to figure

BASIS FOR DATA
ACQUISITION SYSTEM
Hu-m-an is a stand alone, ready to go environment but can be transformed into a
complete 2D or 3D data acquisition system through the addition of a camcorder
and a video capture card. Any video capture card that produces standard
"avi" 16-bit video files is suitable. We recommend Pinnacle
Systems Studio AV (analog) and Studio DV (digital) capture cards and
software as being excellent for producing the required videos. Return

A TEACHING-LEARNING FOCUS
Hu-m-an, developed using a student learning focus, provides a platform for
teaching and includes Demonstrations, Practice Exercises and Example
Laboratories. Hu-m-an encourages the development of instructor created
