"CLINICAL" 3D ANALYSIS (Back to Hi-lights)
While
introducing three-dimensional analysis, Hu-m-an differentiates between
"general" data generation, where joint centers are estimated directly,
and "clinical" data generation, where external markers are used to
mathematically locate the underlying structures.
Clinical 3D Data Generation
To demonstrate "clinical" 3D data generation, Hu-m-an uses a 15 point
Helen Hayes marker set and kinematically analyzes hip, knee and ankle motion.
Built in macros provide a vehicle for immediate data processing.
Experienced
users can adapt the procedure to virtually any marker set, and available vector
mathematics procedures permit individualized analysis. Local segment unit vector
reference frames can be created and displayed.
Coordinate data can also be exported for analysis with third-party applications.
